It depends on you really. Intake is cheaper and faster, but the exhaust will give you more power.

keep in mind it has to inhale better before it can exhale better(intake b4 exhaust IMO) and you can get a CAI on ebay for less than 50$$. if you want to save money get one for the mitsu eclipse non-turbo. more common. at least they were when i bought mine.
