question on universal o2 sensors?

Default question on universal o2 sensors?

Hey all i have a 95 es 2.5 and i need to get my o2 sensors changed cant really afford to but the bosh ones for like 50 a piece. so i seen some unies on ebay for like 20 and was wondering if they work or not some one use them or know about them silver you know anything on them???

They will work. I just want to let you know however; I used them once. It died shortly after, so I went ahead and bought a Bosch one and had no issues after that. One more, DON'T cut the stock plug. Just use the plug that the universal uses (it's not the best of connections, but....). It may live long enough for you to save a bit to buy a Bosch one.

ok one more thing i found some that say they are direct replacment ones here is the link and i was wondering about o i need two diffrent ones for the front and the rear or use the same ones?? need a lil help on the o2 thing lol thankx

You will need two different ones if one is a downstream and the other is an upstream. If they are both the same (upstream/upstream or downstream/downstream) then you can buy two of the same ones.
I hope that helps.
Oh yeah, I don't know about the Borg Warners. It wouldn't hurt to try them out since they are a direct fit (I believe they are referring to the electrical plug).

Lol, sorry. How many o2 sensors do you have? I had 4 on my V6, two on each downpipe. The ones closest to the 3 runners are the upstream and the ones closest to where both front and back downpipe connect are the downstreams.

i have two on mine one before the cat and one after the cat thats all i do beleave one is a up and one is a down though i ready a lil more and now i understand i am just gunna give these a try and see what happens thanx silver G

i used them once they didnt work for me however i got one from a junkyard and my check engine never came on after just another opinion
