Default muffler

ya i just have a standard stock exhaust system on my car.. just curious if i added this would it do anything... I mean even if it doesnt i think it still looks cool ha... just curious how would i go about putting this on.. or would it even fit?

i think it might make a diff. will make more if it is part of a full catback wit like 2.25 inch piping but yea i will make a minor difference i think

It will work, but yeah, the 3" inlet is too big, it needs to be reduced and since it's a flow through, it will be louder, so much for being a muffler, lol, but you won't gain anything from it. You need to complete the flow with an easier breathing intake and full catback. Don't look at the power gains...that's only on a good day with all the variables satisfied...

That will work. Although you may have some fitment issues. They are stated in the sticky section.

honestly i wouldnt waste my money paying that much for an intake. i payed $40 shipped for my cold air intake off ebay. an intake's an intake spend your money to get a good filter not brand name piping.

Which intake for 40$ do u recommend off ebay?

Or is there a DIY thread around that tells people how to make a decent one from home?

I obviously know K+N or bust.

Is it worth "swiss cheesing" the intake only?

just search 95-99 mitsubishi eclipse cold air intake on ebay and find a cheap one and then buy a k&n filter. just make sure its for the non-turbo eclipse.
