2. For me the 4wd was worth it. For others maybe not, but I had a blast doing it.
3. You can easily get a 4-5in lift for under $200.
5. That is the way any RWD truck handles that has enough power.
6. Plenty of room, it just depends on what you want to sacrifice. Single cabs you can hide the speakers behind the seats, Club Cabs you can fit a big box behind the seat just sacrifice the rear seat or at least just one seat and still fit 2 people in the rear.

See my fix on this page on this thread. https://dodgeforum.com/forum/1982096-post14.html
For tie downs just install aftermarket, I got 3 along the railing of the bed, 1 on the tail gate, 1 on each side behind the side rear windows. 2 on the front railing of the bed under the sliding window.

2. Meh, I wouldn't go through that much trouble with this truck. If I'm going to put that much effort into converting or rebuilding it's going into another Jeep. Got stuck with this truck sorta by accident as a DD. Too broke to get anything else right now.

3. I meant for 2wd.

5. I know, still don't like it.

6. Doesn't matter, it's not enough room for me. In part because of my size. It's a midsize pickup, there's only but so much room to work with.

I hate that my small block will never be fast enough and that the big block hates my pockets

3. 2wd too can get an easy 4in lift. 2in suspension 2in body under $200.

6. I was talking about room for the subs.

3. True. I didn't write it, but I was thinking overall after leveling it out. I mean you could do more than 2" body lift, but yeah.

6. Yeah, but short of putting a box in the floor, bed, or replacing the bench seat there's no enough room for one in my single cab because the seat has to be all the way back for me to even fit in the truck. I do plan on swapping the seats out for it, but I might not get around to it. Might be getting rid of the truck here soon afterall.

LA 360's were sure DOGS just like any other motor from any make at that time. Most modern 4clys have more power then them.

I don't know if you ever driven a 5.9 Magnum they sure have plenty of power, not DOGS to me, what people need to remember they are TRUCK engines not sports cars. Torque is the name of the game not HP.

Ditto on the cup holders. I also hate that everything electronic goes through the PCM. Can't Chrysler wire anything independent of it's self?
