Default New Mud Tires w/pics!

My old BF Goodrich T/A tires tread were getting low. So I searched Craigslist for a good deal. I found a set of 33/12.5R15 (Same size I had) MudStar Radial M/T for $400, with DAMN good tread (Like new). I grabbed them last night, got them installed first thing this morning. The look so sick! I did a quick test run offroad. They did great. They dig/tare into anything that fights them. They were clean when I got them. Not anymore. They found a mud hole already.

Enough talk here are the pics!

Check out the Penny test.

I don't mean to post off-topic, but are those scoops on the bonnet functional?

Also the tyres do look great! I love your blacked out wheels.

tires look good, better then most on CL.

what i would give to live where you live. Around here we have NO trails what so ever. theirs nowhere to "offroad" or even cruise on trails, etc. only roads and the occasional parking on the grass at a school event..

Yes they are functional. They come with the grills closed. But I cut it open and added a grill and opened up my hood for the air to come in. I got them from wwww.jegs.com

Thanks. I powder coated my stock rims.

LOL! Sorry that sucks. That spot I went is 5 mins away. And I live in a large city too, not a small one.

how deep are those factory wheels? i was thinking all the older dakota wheels didn't get any deeper than about 6.5, but those look like they are handling the 12.5'' with no problems

Yea they are 6in wide. Ya they do handle the 12.5 tires just fine. I wouldn't recommend anything wider then that for the stock rims.

I got a set of 8in wide rims that I have 15in wide slicks mounted on. I was thinking of swapping those in but these are fine.
