Got the new bumper on today. Realized it was an aftermarket 2nd gen bumper. But it looks okay on it. Next thing to check off before we get it inspected is new front tires and installing the muffler when it gets here too.

taken while it was being put on. it ended up getting all new bolts and nuts etc. we had to cut and grind off all the old ones.
just a fun one of when dad used the grinder
taken this morning. still have to make the holes for the license plate lights bigger to put the old ones on it.
now to decide whether to paint the front bumper to match it or not

Oh wow that 2nd Gen bumper looks awesome on your dak.
You should throw up a few full truck views so we can see how it fits with the rest of the truck
I also vote painting your front bumper also to make it match.

I've got a second gen rear bumper on my '95 as well. Fits the overall lines of the truck pretty well. I also just installed a set of second gen 16x8 rims with 235/70-16 tires. I'll post pics as soon as the weather lets me wash her up and make her look decent.

Today I installed a new CB radio in my truck. I had a basic Cobra CB 19 Ultra III, now I got a Cobra 29 LX LE 50 year Anniversary Special Edition. I love it, its fully digital, it can change to 5 different screen colors, clock and alarm and full menu to customize it. Weather alert channels PA system (I have a PA speaker under the hood).
I also got a Hustler with a booster installed antenna. New 18ft coax cable. I got a ball mount which I have the antenna installed.

Well for me today I basically rebuilt my rear end. New shoes drums springs adjuster kits. My locker needed new springs, I replaced those. New seals, new/use carrier. What a day.
For those that always ask for pictures of how the brakes setup goes. This is the 10in, the 9 is slightly different but the location of the parts are in the same position.

it's a little weird for me when i look in the side mirrors and cant see it like i could see the old one where it wrapped around the sides a little
Also today I put the new muffler on
