What did you do to/with your truck today?
Nice, I put those wheels on my '92 when I had it (see my sig), had to shave the brake line bolt a bit and the inner lip of the wheels to clear the brake line bolt (just barely). Fit great after that. They are still on the truck,(my grandpa owns it now).
i had to shave my bolt too but eventually im gunna get wheel spacers for both front and back but im affraid of it rubbing i just hope when i do brakes soon i dont have to replace the caliper or that hose cuz mine is shaved alot
I threw the wifes car out of the garage two weeks ago and spend all day every day on my Dakota. PDR to all the dings and Bondoed every dent. Entire truck is in primer. Had the windshield removed and fixed the rust spots behind it in the frame then coated frame with epoxy paint and a new glass put in. Ordered two bumpers from Tactical Armor in Atlanta, and four 15x8 Cragar soft black rims from Summit Racing in Ohio. They arrive tomorrow. Spray undercoated the fenders and quarter panels, and replaced a rear plate light socket. Custom built a spare tire mount for the top of the fiberglass cap so I can bring an extra spare on long hauls. Fiberglassed behind the front grill for support where it was cracked and repaired the face. Once the bumpers arrive the end of this month I'll put them on, check for clearance and put new tires on the rims and have the truck painted. Wifes car is back in the garage.

I do. But don't know how to upload them onto here. Wheels came today. I tried one on the front and took a few pix. Can't find reasonable tire prices. I decided to stay with 31x10.50 R 15. Might just bite the bullet tomorrow and pay the $150 ea.
BTW.. I forgot to mention. The Cragar 15x8 soft 8 I think they're called. Steel modular wheel, all black. I measured the offset on my OE wheel, which is a 7" wheel, and there is 2 1/2 inches to the front of the rim to the back of the lug plate. The Cragars measure 4 inches. So that's a zero offset, and all the extra rim is on the outside. So, more stability with the wider tracking. However, they are not concentric like the OE rims, so there's a lot more stress on the lugs and studs. If I remember right from my days of working in brother's tire store, the taper on a lug nut for a steel wheel is different than one for an aluminum wheel. So I guess I'd better buy new lug nuts. Just thought I'd throw that out there.

New lug nuts won't be necessary, as the taper is the same. You might want to find some hub centric rings that might lessen the stress on the wheel studs and also will eliminate any possible vibration that might be produced from the lack of the rims fitting tight around the center hub.
