What did you do to/with your truck today?
Make a photobucket account and upload them there, Then post the IMG tags here in your posts. Easy enough. And yea I know how tire prices are. They are freakin kickin my ***
reinstalled the motor mounts, finsihed the brake lines on the front, custom made a trans mount(since my dumb@$$ got rid of the old one with the trans), started installing the new pitman arm(ned teh cab back on to finish) started changing all my u-joints.
Damn! $just under $720 for 4 tires. I was screwing around trying to find air chucks and fixing my neighbors little compressor and said the heck with it. Just bite the bullet. So I brought the rims in the boxes in my front seat, had the tire store mount and balance them and took them home to install so I could paint the calipers and drums and leafs Not even a year old and they were looking crappy. I'm looking at my invoice, and the chump charged me $8 for disposal of my old tires. I don't know how he did that since I drove home on them. But, it sure feels good driving now. I used to have a photo bucket thingey. I'll check it out. Got a smart phone recently, so I'll have to ask my kid how to get the pix off of it onto my PC. Think I have to get i tunes. And that reminds me of this:
An old timer went to visit his kid and asked to borrow his news paper for a second while they were kicking back in the living room. The kid said that he didn't waste his money on news papers, they were too 20th century. But told his dad he could use his i pad. That spider never knew what hit it.
Awful lot of link options. Still have a lot of ancient junk in my photobucket, have to clean it up some time. Here's a pic I have from my old phone of my truck a little bit stuck. A culvert washed out on my road on my Maine property. Sure didn't look this deep in the dark. Probably why I stopped using PB. Links never seem to work for me.

I think Ired it out. Got the pix from the phone to pc to photobucket... now... this should be a pic of the repaired rust under the windshield. Ground it to bare metal and skim coated it with tiger hair. Block sanded it smooth, then mixed epoxy paint and brushed it in. The glass guy covered it with primer, then glue, and put a new glass in.

This one should be the rust spots.

and test fit new Cragar wheel. Hood all primed, door is primed where I fixed the dent I made skidding into my lumber pile in Maine a few weeks ago.

Changed my brake pads and rotors the other day. My rotors were warped and my pads were wearing unevenly. the outer pads still had plenty of material left on them but the inner pads had worn almost down to the rivets on one side. as far as the warped rotors, no more lurching when I stop!

I can't say I did all this "today" But I've been very busy the past few months.
-Installed some Hella Driving lights to get a bit wider of a light distribution.
-Fixed my hazard lights finally :P
-I updated my sound system to get rid of the old and busted blown stock speakers.
-Installed a Temperature controlled electric fan out of some old early 90s GM vehicle. Got it out of my course so no ones really sure where it came from but it does the job and quite well. Its a two speed but I wired it only to use the high speed since I only want it to come on when the truck starts to work since my coolant can easily maintain the proper temp for average driving.
-And this week I built a bully bar for the truck out of 2" piping. Bent it all up welded a few pieces together and it almost looks like I bought it although one mount is slightly lower since the bender I had access to had no way of gauging angles and when we finally noticed it was to late to fix it but you honestly have to be looking for it to notice it.
Heres a picture of my Dak as it stands as of yesterday
