I want too tint my all my windows in the truck but dont know whats the best % as I want it dark but when I drive at night I want too be able too see out of the windows fairly easy. Any comments would be welcome here please help me out......
I had 5% on my mini-van and didn't like it because I couldn't see at night. I switched to 20% and it's good to keep the sun out but you can see at night. 35% is too light in my opinion and not even worth it. 35% is usually the law for front windows that allow it, at least here in AZ.
I like a good 20% on everything. Already been stated, but it helps keep people from peeking in, and you can still see through it at night. Make sure you get the good stuff with the UV barrier in it to help block the light out.
Thanks guys as I was planning on taking my truck in next week to get the windows tinted and I think I will go with the 20%. its real illegal here in Wisconsin but I dont care as I want the truck too look cool. Besides I dont drive it much unless it the weekend and its sunny out....lol
Not trying to say you have a terrible looking ride, but I might have thrown up a little.
On a more positive note, the tint looks fantastic!
LOL, lots of those decked out lower trucks with all the body kits ect reminds me of the movie House party, Kid's or was it Play well one of them had a S10 like that lowered with a ugly body kit and a spoiler and a bright paint job. It makes me laugh every time I see a lowered truck like that. (A+ to anyone who can post up a picture of that truck, a Google search got me nothing)
But I'm not putting yours down, everyone has their own taste and it is nice and clean.
thats right everyone has there own thing. I like the 4x4 also as i built a Ramcharger that was 11 feet tall and had a 500 horse motor. Just too let ya all know I didnt lower this truck....its only a 2 wheel drive :-). here is a pic of the ramcharger with the 500 horse motor and just before the body lift:
