brake lights

Just bought a 88 with 3.9 and 195k. Any now when I hit brakes running lights go out on left but right is fine. Any ideas?

Sounds like a bad bulb.

Remove the tail light housing. 4 simple screws.

I did that but couldn't figure out how to get to the bulbs

Turn the light socket then up out to remove it from the housing.
