Default Rear main seal and other questions 92 5.2L 4x4

I'm having my transmission rebuilt. Got it off and now I'd like to replace/check anything I can while I have it off. I'm pretty sure the rear main seal needs to be replaced. The Haynes manual says to remove the oil pan and pump to replace the main. Curious if I need to do that given I have the whole trans off? Also, and forgive my ignorance of vocabulary, I think the "drive plate" is damaged and I'm curious about replacing that. I'll attach a picture of that. Really just looking for any advice or things worth checking. I'm fairly competent, I got the trans off myself, but I have plenty to learn, so any wisdom is appreciated. Thanks!
If you look closely one of the bolt holes is pretty deformed, I'm assuming that needs replacement.

Are you replacing your torque converter as well? (I would hope so, with the trans rebuild.....) Make sure you get on for a 5.2...... It looks like someone tried to use a 5.9 torque converter on that, which has one offset hole......

Yep, gotta drop the pan to do the rear main seal. It's a two piece feller, and the rear main bearing cap needs to come off, to change it. Thus, the oil pan, pickup, and pump.....

You should remove the crank sensor when you remove/install a trans, It can become bent real easy.

Yeah they'll put in a new torque converter. Took it to a reputable place so I'm assuming they will use the correct parts. I'll take that sensor out too. Thanks!
