Sounds like the IAC could be getting sticky/slow, or the minimum idle air is setting is low - should be 400-500 rpm. That is what the engine will idle at when warmed up, in park, accessories off, and the IAC closed. Check this first - engine off, remove the air cleaner.Open the throttle all the way, anduse a spray can of carb cleaner to clean the build-up in the throttle bores & back side of the throttle plates. I like to use an old toothbrush to scrub the stubborn stuff with& then rinse with another shot of cleaner. The dirt build up & chokes off the air gap by the throttle plates. This may not fix it, but it's the 1st & easiest thing to check & needs to be done before this -Close the IAC cheater style, with engine warmed up, pull the brake booster vacuum line so the engine idles too fast. Wait 5seconds for computer to fully close IAC. Unplug IAC. Yes, this will set a code & turn the engine light on - don't worry about it, it will go away once plugged back in. Plug the brakebooster vac line back in - engine may try to stall, keep it running w/throttle, slowly closing to bringit down to idle - should be at min idle setting and running only off the throttle plate setting. If too low/won't run or too high (unlikely), drill out plug to access adjuster screw on throttle body & adjust. When done, plug IAC back in. Drive Happy.

Hope this helps - Good luck.

sounds like a vaccuum leak. Check all vac hoses carefully.
