When the truck warms up, Ill put my foot into the gas and it sputters its way slowly up to speed. Feels like something is clogging the fuel delivery maybe?
No codes displayed on check engine light.
This is the second catylitic convereter ive put on since June this year. can it be clogged already?
O2 sensor was replaced recently, fuel filter was replaced a year 14K miles ago
Plugs, wires, cap & rotor were replaced last year 14K miles ( I use good quality parts)
I run nothing but Chevron 89 octane gas
Fresh oil
Could it be a bad EGR valve?
I appreciate any advice.

fuel pump is running just above 15 psi (normal pressure is 14.5)
EGR valve tested out okay
Sprayed soapy water around intake, coil, plugs n wires, distributor and got no response
my mechanic shop helped me look at it and they really dont think its the cat converter.
seems to be running fine at the moment, I test drove it for about 20 minutes and made sure it was at normal running temp.
its a dang singin frog I tell ya! sings for me but no one else!

The best thing is to buy a chiltons or hanynes manuel. It usually discribes how to test the sensors. Maybe its your coil. lots of posibiltys. You could try a small shop. or even pepboys. the usually will do a free test drive to check everything out. I still say if you dont know how to test it, take it to autozone. I know there sh*tty sometimes but they will test it for free. then go somewhere else and buy the part. When you need to test it you NEED to test it.

at the dealer's suggestion I replaced the ignition coil and distributor cap.
While installing the new cap, I discovered the old cap was installed 180 degrees the wrong way. The contact points were corroded and off center on the old cap which may have caused the misfires. Test drove it and it seems to run great!
$85 for the diagnose and $20 for the parts.
