Default Heat / A/C Blower problem

I have a 1993 Dodge Dakota 5.2L V8.... Recently the
blower just stoped working. All of the sudden it jus
cut out. I wonder if in might be the fuse in the box
under the hood with other fuses like the starter fuse
... etc.

Please Help it is like -5 degrees up here...

Default Heat / A/C Blower problem

I found the problem...
It was the resistor for the blower motor, it was
corroded and finally fell off, does anyone know where
i can find another??
Thanks
Mike

mine did the same thing,,I was thinking it was the motor itself,,, have to look under the steering column and start digging,,, the resister plugs into the fan so it has to be close to it,,,let me know what you find

Check the FAQ in the link above.

There is a resistor mounted on the firewall that is the usual culprit for this problem. Two screws, one wire plug and a $6-8 part fixes it. Definitely do that before you start dismantling the dash to replace the blower motor - it's a major pain in the *** that won't solve the problem(don't ask me how I know).

that was the culprit,,, too bad I had the thing apart and discovered the motor was new,,then searched the wire to the resister which was corroded ,, sanded the contacts, plugged it back in ,, problem solved,,,,I put dielectric grease on it before I was done,,,

I have a dodge caravan 2004 anniversary edition. Two days ago I went to wash it and suddenly the A/C/heater blower stopped. What can I do ?
