Default dakota posi-lok

So I've seen the website and have searched the forums, but everything returned is for the Ram. Is there a version (or an alteration of a version) of thePosi-Lokthat is an easy fix for a 1st gen ('89) Dakota? I don't want to have to rely on vaccuum when out in the middle of nowhere...
Thanks,
Lance

not quite sure what you're talking about, but wouldnt it be the same for dakotas as long as it was the same rear end?

I do know what your talking about. The front central axle disconnect. My truck does not have one, but I have seen my cousins truck with it and I would guess if you buy one for a dodge and modify it, it may work! because all it needs is to be pushed in or pulled out. A simple cable setup that they sell I would think can be easly modifyed. Or even check on a jeep I think some have the same front diff.

Good call on the Jeep angle, and thanks for the replies. I almost forgot about some of the shared parts w/ early cherokees/comanches. Thanks again!
