I have a LE edition. they came with the drivers bench seat with themiddle seat and the passangers bucket. I belive the base modles came with both bucket seats and a center concle. But no middle seat. You could try junkyards. Or JCW.com does sell them too.

I have the same year andLE edition as you crazy and mine are both bucket seats with a center console in the middle.

Although could be cause your original truck was 2wd so maybe 2wd LE's had the third middle seat, where as the 4wd LE's had bucket seats.

Ya it could be the 2wd. But ether way check junkyards they are the best way to go. Someone also said on here 2nd gen will fit on 1st gen with no mods. who knows.

Have a '95 SLTDak, standard cab, which had the (hard) bench seat. Replacedoem 95 seat with 60-40 '97 oem seats from an extended cab which have a center flip-up console. These seats are not a bolt-in, however, and require holes to be drilled and new bolts to be installed in the rear. However, with about a half-day's work and a little ingenuity, you can make them fit. These seats are high-back and will therefore protect your neck in the event of a rear-ender and are much more comfortable on long trips.

Hope this msg. helps.

I PUT 2001 DAK SEATS IN MY 96 AND MY 96 HAD THE 2 BUCKETS AND I WENT TO THE 2001 SPLIT BENCH WITH THE FOLD DOWN CENTER CONSOLE / ARMREST BUILT IN THE SEAT BACK OF THE CENTER PASSENGER.

IT TOOK ME AND MY FATHER ABOUT 3 HOURS TO DO IT ALL BUT I TOOK MY TIME AND SHAMPOOED THE CARPET WHILE THE SEATS WERE OUT.

AS FAR AS MODIFICATIONS, EACH AND EVERY HOLE HAD TO BE RE DRILLED AND I USED NEW GRADE 8HARDWARE AND JUST RE THREADED MY OLD HARDWARE BACK INTO ALL OF THE OLD HOLES.

THE TWO OUTER FRONT HOLES CUTINTO THE FACE OF THE STEP UP IN THE FLOOR FOR THE 2 OUTER MOUNTS OF THE SEAT PEDESTALS ARE A BITCH! I WENT TO LOWES AND GOT SOME RETAINER STYLE BOLTS THAT GO INTO THE HOLE AND THEN PIVOT SO THAT THE ARMS OF THE "PIVOTING NUT" ,IF YOU WILL, STRADDLES THE HOLETHUS PROVIDES AN ANCHOR POINT AND TIGHTENED THE BOLT. IT'S HARD TO EXPLAIN SO I'LL HAVE TO TAKE A PIC AND POST IT.

ANY WAYS I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THE 2ND GEN SEATS IN MY 1ST GEN DAKOTA. THEY'RE A REAL HEAD TURNER FOR EVERYONE THAT GETS IN! PLUS IT'S DARKER AND HAS BLACK IN THE FABRIC SO WHEN I REPLACED MY HEADLINER I WENT WITH BLACK! TO THOSE WHO NEED A NEW HEADLINER I STRONGLY RECOMMEND DOING IT YOURSELF IT WAS SOOO EASY!!! PLUS IT GAVE ME THE OPPORTUNITY TO WIRE IN A LIGHTED GM REARVIEW MIRROR!!!

IM ME IF YOU NEED ANY HELP AND GOOD LUCK WITH IT !!!
