Well I have a guy here that wrecked his 00 R/T. It has 68,000mi on it. He sold alot of the parts already but kept the engine to rebuild and put into a 78 Grand Wagoneer but his dad told him he needs to get rid of the "projects" sitting in his yard. lol. He told me he would sell me the heads, Intake, and throttle body setup for 250.00 or the whole motor for 600.00. Should I just buy the whole thing? If not, will I need the computer if I use his throttle body too?

Get the entire engine. You will be glad you did. Thats what I did. You can use your stock computer. The only thing you will need is the harmonic ballancer and flexplate and injectors+ connectors from the 5.9. everything else stock will work. just use your 5.2 sensors.
And just so you know even tho it is coming from a rt truck it does not have rt heads. No stock truck came with the RT heads.

Yea Crazy I realize that. However, I am under the impression that the 5.9 Heads flow a little better than the 5.2. Right?

Right they do. But getting the entire engine is going to be better than the heads. Im only guessing but the head swap may be good for 10 hp or so. the engine 30-40hp.
