89 dakota mopar express package?
So I bought a 1989 dakota sight unseen on Craigslist that had a chevy 350 and turbo 350 trans. when i got there i seen that it was a Mopar Express trim package. I looked all over online and came up with nothing other than that it is a trim package with a shelby roll bar, decals, and side molding... and that is what I know from looking at it. Does anyone know anything about this package? Iv never seen this before and now that i own it i now have interest to know more...

if its a step side with exhaust stacks its a little red express, if its a fleetside it could be a shelby, there are some fake shelbys out there that are standard first gens which had engine upgrades and the shelbydecal set put on, i see shelby decal sets on ebay from time to time

It is a fleet side, black with silver and red decals that say Mopar Express on the side of the bed and it also has a round sticker on the center front of the hood that says Mopar Express. It for sure is not a Shelby or a Little Red Express... it is a Mopar Express. It has thin metal side molding that is just on top of the lower body line. i will get up pics as soon as i can.

i like chevy and mopar so its no big deal to me... i just have a lot more parts available for the 350 with my friend being a racer and my brother being a chevy fanatic, plus its already in there. I was just hoping that I could get some info on the Mopar Express

hi, I also own one of these rare trucks, mine is blue with the red and argent silver graphics and the shelby light bar. I've started a registry for the trucks on facebook and here is some basic information.
The trucks were sold by a dealership in Kentucky
There were only a few (100+) or so built
I own the last blue example known to exist (might still be another one lurking somewhere)
They were built in either red, blue, black, or white
They were long bed, 3.9L, base trim trucks, although I have heard of 2.2L M.E.'s
hope this was some help!
