If you have any suggestions I would sure appreciate them.
get that ****ty motor out of there, I've had nothing but problems with my 87 3.9 carboreted... I've changed everything, its just a POS. I've changes the cat and muffle the plugs wires cap rotor spark box coil rebuilt the carb and its just a pile of junk. How many km's ?
mine had 239,000 kms. If you really want to just keep it running. adjust the 2 mixture screws at the bottom of the carb turn them both out 1/2 a turn at a time and see if it helps.
hmm.. i would try to see if it will read out any codes.. turn your ignition on then off then on then off then back on and watch the light and see if it will throw any codes..
