i've bought quite a few little dakotas in my time lol, i'd try and see if he'll take 1800 for it becasue it is already 15 years old, so even if it is good now it's now going to last a whole lot longer. just because he says it's a good driving truck doesn't mean that it was never bagged on and run through the mud or whatever. everyone drives differently.
from the pic i saw it looks nice and everythigh that was listed sounds good.what i did not like was the mirrorsthat big kind and had 3 hooks on each side of the bed.i have to sell my truck and use some of the tax money i am getting..but he lives like 45 mins away so only thime i could go is on the weekend if he still has it thanks

yeah, i wouldnt give any more then 2000, i paid 2000 for mine and mines a 96, but then again it needs some body work. it wont hurt to go check it out and test drive it. just make sure it isnt leaking anything or smell like oil and stuff and i think 1800-2000 wouldnt be bad at all.
Goodluck

I wouldnt pay more than 2000, like everyone said its 15 yrs although 91000 miles is awesomely low, if it is totally as he described it I wouldsay its a steal. Dont waste time. Good luck

sounds like a good deal and sounds like the seller is asking for top dollar. I would too if it really is in that good of shape. $2,000 would be an awesome deal for that truck but $2,300 would not be overpaying either.
If it is truly as advertised,it ain't a bad deal, but it is more than the blue book. Practice your negotiation skills, nothing to lose.
That's whatI like about Dakotas, they drive like sports carsbut ride like Caddies.
