ok just went outside, that boss i am talkign about is liek an inch protruding and like an inch in diamter or there abouts....

it isnt the pipe pictures above, that pipe is liek 1/2" and way longer, and is to the right when facing the engine of the big boss

Oh okay you are right. It is the bypass hose that goes into the intake manifold. Replace that hose, it is a PIA to replace if it busts in the middle of no where.

If I still remember right that insert is threaded. It may be better to buy a new insert as well as the heater output tube that I posted a picture of, it is a common leakage problem.

If I remember right you asked how to drain the system. The lower left side of the radiator has a drain valve. Unscrew then it drains.
