thats kind of cool, those things are pretty hard. i already hve polygraphite bushings in mine, they work pretty good too!
You 2WD guys get all the good stuff. I remember looking for good bushings for my truck and wasn't able to find anything. Of course, I don't always know they best placed to look, but the main placed cater to 2WD.

Hockey pucks, I'll have to remember that for when I replace my bushings!

What difference is there between the 1st gen 2wd and the 4wd bushings ?
Is it simply thickness ?
If so.. any advantage to using the prothane 2wd kit along with pucks on top of them ?
Wouldn't using alone pucks make the cab ride hard ?

I thought about temporarily using pucks for my rear cab bushings, they squeak! Also as a cheap way to wedge the coil springs back to stock height in the front for a few months.

I did a 2" puck body lift all the way around on my truck. I would say they are just fine for looks/on-road use. After one heavy offroad wheeling trip, the cab mount pucks are starting to compress, leaving a noticable difference in cab/box heights, also giving reduced clearance up front. I'm going to be replacing mine with custom pipe/washer bushings to ensure clearance and reduce sag at the cost of ride quality.

In my case I'm looking for the 4x4 stock height.

I figure I'll give using the energy suspension 2wd cab mount bushings a try for the 4wd.
I can't see why they would be different. (except maybe thickness, which pucks should solve)
