My 1987 Cutlass with a 1977 403 with 68 heads edelbrock carb, decomputerized, headers with true duals and no cats legitimately PASSED the sniffer. It "passed" the visual on the didn't see, didn't look method.

My build specs:

i have to take my intrigue in for emisions(which i will be changing soon). 7 lakeside counties have to go through them(i unfortunately live in one of those 7) if the vehicle is 1996 or newer unless you garage the vehicle in a different county...

i've removed the cat from all of my vehicles except my 91 dakota and have noticed a slight difference in power and economy. it got a little better for me but for me i notice every little difference when driving. also never had a problem with the noise either...atleast not till my muffler rusted off the truck...then everyone had a problem with my truck.
