Ya I have! It is worth it. I dont know if you have emission laws in your city but of course its illegal to do it.
Its not to hard. The only problem is getting the cat off the rest of the pipes. It will take some musle to get it out. I had to tie it off to my tree and drive just a lil to pull it off. You can just get a saw and cut it! But then its got to welded.
Once its off just get a steel pipe and a hammer. Just keep on hitting the insides untill its completly clean.

I just bought a 3 foot crow bar that should work nicely, anda 2 lb hand sledge :P Well worth the 11 bucks! Thanks Harbor Freight!

But, is a 3 foot bar long enough? And can I take the remains to the scrap yard? I heard thats what is so valuable.

Most scrap yards will take the whole cat, but not just the innards.

Its fairly simple just take a hammer and crowbar and have at it...you won't regret it...its probably the best thing i have done to my truck...i think my truck sounds alot meaner this way

This will be next weekends project then. I cant wait to hear it get a little meaner in sound and have a little better HP. Since I have the open air cleaner this should definitely compliment the exit of all that air.
