MS works great. It can do anything the OEM computer does .But the good part is you can control what and how it controls .With 21lb injectors I got 26mpg ,or about 21mpg (US gallons) .I have not spent any real time trying to get the best mpg. I just switched to 19lb injectors from a crown vic for the better spray pattern to see if this will improve mpg.

I built my first one when you could only buy the board from B&G directly and the parts seperate. My second one I got all the parts from diyautotune.com/ .They now sell complete systems ready to install. All the info is at MSEFI.com .I would change the O2 sensor first then grab a cpu from the wrecker. Oh and no more redline shifting.

If you want more mpg there is alot of things that would be alot easier than messing around with your fuel system. I've got a 95 Dakota with a 3.9 and i was only getting about 14mpg when i got it. I put a lower temp thermostat and a set of copper core plugs in it and my truck idled smoother and ran better. I also noticed that i picked up a few mpg. Then after i put a new air filter on, a new set of plug wires, and true dual straight pipes out the back i get about 21 to 22 mpg if i dont get into it too bad...i also noticed that my engine has a little more pep than it used too..

By true dual i assume you mean the pipes never join anywhere... how did you set this up, cause I've been wondering what to do about putting in an extra o2 sensor. My truck only has one after the pipes meet but if you run true dual exhaust you would need one on each bank.
