same problem here. but the 20 amp fuse blows every time I turn on the headlights. I checked the tail lights for moisture and cleaned up the taillight plugs. put dielectric grease in them and changed the bulbs. checked under the back of truck and no bare wires. I have changed the headlight switch and still blowing the #8 fuse everytime I turn on the headlights. Apparently the tail lights and instrument panel lights are both on that fuse. I cant figure it out????? Someone please help...
how I fixed tail lights & instrument panel lights...

My tail lights and my instrument panel lights quick working after I had a new stereo installed at the local stereo store.

I FOUND THE FIX:

The stereo store grounded the stereo to a hot wire. The hooked the stereo ground to a Black/Yellow "Hot Wire" Lucky it didn't fry my stereo. The stereo ground didn't even need to be hooked to anything because the flat metal security cable was grounding the stereo already.

Needless to say that I won't be giving them anymore of my business.

Just wanted to let everyone know how mine was resolved, in case it might help someone else out.
