Most likly they are talking about the ones that are on the other side of the fireway, under the hood! There are more online manuals listed int the FAQ. Im not to sure if you have to remove the gauge cluster or not. A few others have fully removed it. Let me know how it goes. I have a vacuum leak somewhere back there.

it is just the bolts on the firewall that hold that in and when i did my heater core i just pulled the lower panel, ashtray and glovebox, when you pull it out you have to twist it to get it past the dash but it will fit also when you do this be sure to label all of the vacuum lines and electrical conectors

I have AllDATA for my truck and I copied some pics that may help you....
It seems that you do have to take out the "lower instrument panel module"

The rest of the pic's are in order of how they are on the site... any other questions let me know....

Maybe it's just me, but I think Alldata has their site protected cause when I click on these links, I get a different image every time and so far non of them have anything to do with removing the heater core.

Okay. I thought I'd try it... I figured if ALLDATA could help more than just me, it'd be worth it!
