You may think Im crazy to put so much time into a Dak but its the only one I know of in Australia thats right its in OZ!!!
If some one has some pics of other modified daks 87-89 send me some samrex@hotmail.com

Does any one know of where I can get a phantom style front grill from (a Bar grill that covers the headlights)?? or nice black style tail lights aswell like te clear but in black if you know what i mean!!
Does anyone specialise in any modified parts for these cars theres plenty for the chevs but I cant find any for a dakota.
And YES I have read the FAQ's with no luck
RE: standard parts I only need a few little things to finish it off I am after the plastic interior trim that goes from the bottom of the front screen up around the door arch and down the side/back of the cabin, Also the trim along the back of the cab under the rear window..Condition doesnt matter as it will be covered in vynal anyway, finally the nuts to hold on the wiper motor.
If anyone can help with these please let me know

I worked out the power windows

I thought it looked great until i got the interior pic, then my jaw dropped and i couldn't pick it up again. That is quite amazing really. The exterior is clean, and nice, but that interior is just really great. good job. What car did you pull the dash from? doesn't look anything american from the lack of plastic. i don't know what to say other than I WANT ONE!

The dash is out of our basic family cars Ford falcon AU 2001 model.. It only cost me $100 from the wreckers but took alot of time and modifying to get it in there!!

There are plenty of modified parts. Yes the FAQ and FAQ2 has plenty of links. It just depends on what where you looking for. Some of what you need will be custom made. It looks like that just about what you have been doing. So what were you looking for, and we may be able to find something!

Default Awesome, Aussie

I would love to have a right hand drive dakota. We americans drive on the wrong side,, or is it YOU! Cool.. I would put my little son on the left, with a fake wheel to freak out people. Good job. looks great. I live in the state of Maine, USA and corrosion and rust doom our vehicles well before their time. How long do the frames and bodies last down under. Probably forever. Constant battle here in snow country. Well not the snow but road salt.

Nice truck! I gotta say you have more patients than I do to get a dash like that to fit, but it looks totally worth it. What is your push bar made out of, I like it!
