Check the adjustment in the rear drums. When I did a bunch of standing burnounts to wear down my old tires when I got new ones, I ran the adjusters all the way in on the back brakes so I wouldn't have to fight them, and that turned both those lights on, so that would be something to check. To check them, just feel how much resistance there is when you pull off the drums, and if there is none, tighten the brakes until the you can just barely feel then rub.

I don't know a way to test the sensor, you might could just replace it, it can't be too expensive.

I know on the 92-up you can just ground out the ABS dignotstic connector and that Will flash out the coes. It may work for older years.

Here these may help. If needed more info check out the FAQ for the service manual. It has everything.

I believe both lights can be lit up by a bad fuse/ bad power or ground to the ABS module.

And the brake lights could be a bad fuse or bad power or ground wires or bad bulbs.
