was the mkIII package just a trim package? never heard/seen of one until this thread, and after some digging through the depths of the internet... I found very little about them.

though on the topic of rare daks... still woulndt mind one of the lil' red express truck conversions w/ fleetside and stacks XD

Truck looks good!

The 97-up intakes have the Non-egr manifold with no seperater plate in the middle. The plate is easy to remove and you can make a plate to seal up the EGR holes if you wanted. Check out the FAQ2 for the link to do the kegger mod.

Info on the Mark III is hard to find. We have one link posted in the FAQ. If you find any good sites for info on then post it up and I can add it to the list.

some things i've read say they come with "markIII wheels" that use a 255 rear tire, all 4 of my tires are 215 traction is non existent in spirited driving.

the sticker in the door jamb says 15x6 wheels, and 195 tires. i'm going to look through the FAQ now and see if i can find any picture verification of "markIII wheels"

from the looks of the pic, it seems as if you have the same rims as me, except i do believe mine tires are 195's

well, i know i can fit 225's but that i'd rather just buy the newer dakota R/T wheels and put some 255 or 265's in the rear.

i found a whole bunch of stuff on the dakota, but doesn't even mention mark III.

currently shopping for new tires and sizes. 235/60/15 for the rear gives me real nice selection, and 215/60/15 for the front is another nice selection.

i de-badged the truck, and took the stickers off the back window.
replaced the blower motor resistor- and my blower works now
i installed eye-hooks in the bed at all 4 corners so i can strap my pitbike down
