What to buy?
Sorry ModT... we kinda hijacked your thread here :P
I got them at Advance Auto Parts and they are for our trucks. It was a while ago, but I think they were $105 plus tax for the pair. I like them, but they are another model in the line of Sensa-Trac shocks, so if yours went out, I don't know if mine will to soon. They weren't too expensive though, so its not a huge deal if they do. I've liked them so far... I've been hard pressed to sag the rear of my truck. I pulled a 6x12 trailer with 3 rooms full of furniture and the rear sagged less than 2 inches.
*Edit* Here they are... looks like they went up a little bit in price:

Thanks so much for the replies, its just that my boyfriend doesnt really help and when he does he gets pissed cause i dont know all that much about trucks but i am learning and do know alot more then he thinks, we just didnt learn from the same people, so the way i do it is obviously "wrong" from his point of view. But this weekend I put a bumper on my truck and did an awesome job, by the way it was an s10 bumper which was not easy to use oil gas pipe fittings and find the right nuts and bolts and spacers to assemble it so it sat level and durable. But I did it and he was so suprised that it wasnt a **** job! But If I do this im sure he will be liek "how did you manage to do that?" But I dont want to just do it to show him up I wanna do it cause I love trucks and to further my knowledge with it is what I wanna do cause Im planning on rebuilding my engine and Ive already done the lift on it and cut the fenders to fit 33'' tires on it and it all worked out awesome. !! But thanks again for the replies.
Sweet, can we get pictures of it? We like seeing pics! I'm a big fan of fabricating your own parts (even if it was off a chevy!). I can't stand seeing people's cars/trucks and all they did to it was put on a bunch of "bolt on" aftermarket parts.
You shouldn't have a problem doing the work thats needed right now. Don't hesitate to ask specific questions about it if you need help!

The pictures are on my profile in my albums!
I also wanted to say one other thing, I guess now my boyfriend says that i dont have to do all that, he said what it is, is the oil is leaking through the axles in to the bearings and sooner or later its going to affect my breaks. So he said that if I drain and clean out the diffs its not going to make any difference. He said its leaking where the sealants are for the bearings, or something,. I dont know exactly how he said it but it was something liek that. If you know what I am talking about could you please let me know if there is anything i can do to fix this problem before it gets worse, because i just replaced my breaks, and i dont want to do it again.

thats my bumper and how I did it.
I drilled holes in the bumper brackets to match the holes in the frame.
I used gas pipe fittings to somewhat "extend" the frame to make the s10 bumper fit, It was pretty successful and it is extremely sturdy! "suprisingly". Let me know what you think.

Actually, unfortunately to fix axle seals you will need to pull the axles. This is not hard, but it does require removing the diff cover (so what we said above still holds, but there is more to it now). Let me know if its the front or rear and I'll give you a run-down of what to do.
On second thought, they're close enough that its almost the same procedure:
1) Remove the diff cover and let the oil drain.
2) Remove the 6 bolts holding each cv shaft onto the intermediate axle shafts. (front only)
OR
2) Remove the wheels and brake drums (rear only)
3) Remove the bolt holding the center pin in the differential and slide the pin out (try not to knock the spider gears out of place... its not a big deal if you do, but they can be a pain to get back in place).
4) Push one axle in to remove the C-Clip and then remove the axle... repeat for the other side.
5) Use a pry-bar to pull the seals out... destroy it all you want, just try not to scar the housing
6) Hammer the new seals in using an equally sized socket and make sure it doesn't go in crooked.
7) Slide the axle shafts back in replacing the C-Clips
8) Replace the pin and bolt it back down.
9) Use the procedure discussed before for putting the cover back on.

Once you get to working on it you'll realize its not that bad. A rear axle isn't hard to work on until you have to start replacing the ring and pinion gears... they suck.
I would strongly suggest wearing 2 pair of latex gloves if you decide to fix it, cause gear oil is one of the worst smelling things on this planet and it won't easily come off your hands.

So today I talked to someone to see what was wrong with my truck if anything. Turns out there is nothing wrong with it, The shocks are brand new, there is oil or something i forget what he said on the front right shock which is the shock that was supposibly broken, but its not he just never cleaned off the fluid. What fluid would that be?
Also the TPS was just replaced, so I dont think that is what it was when the truck just died. Well it didnt exactly die, it just would accelerate when i hit the gas, but everything else was on and working fine, and it also got really hard to steer, as if everything suddenly got locked, The guy said that he highly doubts that its the TPS, as he had just recently replaced them.
With the diffs he said that it probably wouldnt hurt to drain them, and get new seals, which is what I plan to do when I have time. By the way thanks so much for the replies on how to do that, I think i will be able to do it. Im actually really excited about changing it.
Couple of questions will one oil pan be enough for the rear diffs or is their alot of fluid in them? I just dont wanna be liek oh **** everything going everywhere...lol.
Im planning on having my whole truck sanded this weekend, then next doing the diffs and everything that needs to be done and once all the dirty work is done, Im gonna clean it and paint it! So that will give me alot to do with the truck over the summer, plus im sure more will get hurt with my truck and ill have to replace more stuff since i will hopefully go 4x4ing lots!
