Exclamation Emergency please help quick call or text or something!!

ok so i have done the tranny pan gasket twice in the past 2 weeks because it seemed like it wouldnt stop leaking well i was wrong it appears its coming from where the rod for the shifter comes through the tranny its a 94 v6 auto. Well I read through the service manual and the parts manual and found nothing about a seal in the shifter assembly. Are you 100% sure thats where its coming from, cause a leaking cooler line would make a lot more sense, and the cooler lines are also in the same vacinity.

Also, check the fluid level, cause it almost sounds like it could be overfull if there's enough fluid to leak out of that spot.

Unfortunately, thats the best I can come up with without seeing it in person.

Replace the seal. Part manuals are located in the FAQ. Here is what I found. OEM #

Wow, I stand corrected, I still can't find that seal in the parts manual. Go with what Crazy said then.

yeah i found that but when i called napa they said they didnt know what it was and i had to take it out for them to match it. but yeah any advice for gettin the seal i read on one thing to take out the VALVE BODY?! im pretty good and all but damn. im gonna start working now at a nice relaxing 8:30 hopefully i dont break anything....expensive lol. Thanks so much guys yall rock.

Ooooh! I was looking in the wrong place I was trying to find it on pages 641-643... the part the lists the parts for the shifter assembly (where it should have been IMO :P )
