Default Junkyard Disaster

Hey I just wanted to show you what I put this dakota through tryin to get off the fenders, hood and get to the blower motor. It was in the junkyard so I didnt care about kicking dashboards and wrecking it lol. But this was the damage I did.

Nice! It's hard for me to find what I need at my local upull it junkyard. It's all pre 91's dakotas. Plenty at the other junkyards but they charge alot. $20 below a new part. It's not worth it at the others.

When I got my front drive shaft the other week It was on a 94 dak. The next day it was completely torn apart. Nothing but the unusable left. Mid 90's Dakotas and Rams are valuable here.

photos have been moved or deleted.

Problem with destroying stuff... even if it is in a junk yard, is what if you or I needed those parts later on and now they are trash?

actually when i went there, the windshield was already out and broke, And the dash was cracked everywhere any ways so all the stuff that i made even worse, was bad enough in the beggining that nobody would have taken it other than that it was already trash. I would never purposly wreck a dakota!

It's only gonna get worse. Unfortunately.
I just hate going to the dealer and being told, "Yea, that's not made anymore. Sorry kid."

Thats no joke! I've had a very hard time finding a few parts for my truck cause the dealers only have what was left of old stocks... typically one dealership buys the entire stock and stores it is what I've been told by parts guys.

Yea. I still wish I was able to locate some 4WD lower control arm bushings...

As far as a dealer keeping parts hidden away, I read some where on the forum about that. You'd think they would have a US inventory system.
The Air Force has a global inventory system. Of course, supply retards still mess up simple stuff
