thats the same computer that you can get off of summitracing.com, but for cheaper. you DO have to use premium with it (91 octane or higher). im not sure how it affects milage tho, i dont think it would make a huge difference, but just wait for 95_318SLT or Crazy4x4RT to chime in

I actually got slightly better mileage with the V6 PCM. although I suspect it should have gotten worse.

The biggest factor for most people I think is that the more power you have the more likely you are to stomp on the pedal more and lower the MPG.

Mine said 92 but there is only 91 everywhere I found. For the performance the computer offers yes you do need it. But if you have to you can run regular 86 or 87 but you wont get the performance you paid for. I didn't notice any change in my MPG.

I recommend summit to buy any autoparts from. They do price matching and beat by 10%. Checkers auto parts offers this too.

If anything I noticed a drop in mpg, but like said above, thats cause you don't get performance parts and not romp on the gas harder :P. The premium gas around here is 93 octane, and my truck sure does love it!

You have to find one for the v6 magnum, you can't get a v8 computer. From what I've heard, they are next to impossible to find.

Yes there is. They made them for a very brief time. If you find one it will be used, but they are out there.
