not to hijack any further... I'd say that's the way to go. Not a ford guy, but you can't go wrong with a cobra... DOHC ftw

So I made some more progress and did the hood (The "408 STROKER" will be after the motor swap). I have a picture ready for the entire side/back of the truck, just need to get working on it!

Looks like you made it have clear lights. I think that should be first. Again I love the "Emerald green". I say to throw on some kind of hood scoops, that will make the look for the black hood. And since you can do photoshop it should be easy. Of coarse make them fully functional. The 408 tag is cool. You need one on the tail gate for when you blow those mustangs away when you race them, by then you will blow my truck away too.

Not to make fun off, but it kinda reminds me of a lady bug, a Oranger one. Only because we were just talking about it, a min ago. LOL JK

Lol, yeah, I was trying to get the look of clear lights with VHT tint spray, but it didn't come out quite like I wanted it to. If I put any kind of hood scoop it will be a fully functional shaker hood scoop!!

Lol, I plan on that truck being able to set mustang owners in their place!!! (and camaros too hopefully)

That color is just photoshops rendition of it, the actual color will probably not come out the exact same, but I still think it would be cool to paint it like that. The big problem is, I'm definatley not going to want to scratch it cause the final paint job design I have in my head (more pics to come) will take a looooong time to spray. I'm going to try and make the final job (if I end up decided to do it) a lot more subtle then it looks in photoshop.

External roll cage, protect that paint. lol.

How would it look with a matching orange grill with DODGE in black?

I like the hood, better than racing stripes in my opinion.

I was honestly thinking about some kind of external rollgage for it, but nothing too fancy, just rocker guards and stuff.

Yeah, racing stripes are too played out (no offense Bad96 cause I do like yours a lot!). I really love the old school mopar muscle look with matte black everywhere, so I want to stick with that theme.

I think it would look sweeter if I left the currently chrome part of the grill black, but painted the ribs and the D O D G E orange! I'll have to work on that tomorrow, cause right now I'm out of patients for it.

So.....after reading all the back and forth here about colors, stripes, FORD's..etc...

Am I to understand that when I paint my '95, Dodge Detonator Yellow, I won't be welcome anymore....or is it just owning a yellow Mustang that gets me in trouble?

I personally HATE yellow. And bright colors on cars. It says "Look at me"

But I won't make anyone feel unwelcome. And I'm sure no one else is going to. So if you want is yellow or pink with purple dots that is fine. As long as YOU love your truck, then we all love your truck. Sorry if it felt like you would be unwelcomed.

And we were just making fun of yellow mustangs. There seems to be to many of them out there.
