tires
whats the biggest tire i can fit in on a 94 4wd dakota with 2inch body lift and torson bar lift? i have 31s on it now hoping to go 34 or bigger would love to cram some 36 or 8s under it but idk im not going to be flexing the system to much i dont realy crawl anywheres or anything just like to ride high
also what else can i do to lift it up some more with out running into probs with driveshaft's and stearing
i sit about as high as a stock 2500 chevy pickup 4x4 i think its a 2000 body height wize of course i got more clearence underneath

We have it located in the FAQ but with 2 body lift and 2 out of reindexed keys. Will get you enough for 33s. I have all the above and I can squeeze 35s but not to sure on flexing. Also I would say 33s are the same max tire size for these axles. A few have run 35s but on this forum so we can't tell if they brake stuff. For 38s you can do a custom 6in bodylift. A nice write up is located in the FAQ2 along with lots more lift ideas.
I wouldn't go over 31s without a rear locker if you plan on wheeling it, just too much for that itty bitty front axle and CV joints. Even with a V8, even 31s are a little big for 3.55s too IMO. If you're not going to use the bigger tires to your advantage (wheeling), all you're doing is putting more stress on everything, making it slower and decreasing your fuel economy to look "cool".

My dakota has 33 inch tires on right now, with a v6 and she drives fine, no drag or anything. So the tires arent too heavy for a v6 to handle.
I have a 2 inch body lift, all I had to do was cut my fenders to make clearance for the tires.

Thats what my fender looks liek from the side and around it. And yes she is a 4x4, and I have a 2 inch body lift, i was going to go 3 inches cause thats as safe as you can go with IFS but Im switching to solid front axle soon, so I just left it with a 2 inch body lift. But you can go 3 inches, if I were to go 3 inches I could fit 35 inch tires, because going 2 inches bigger adds 1 inch to the top of the tire and 1 inch to the bottom of the tire. So you have more than enough clearance to fit 35s with a 3 inch lift!!

Nice, I love those tires.
Ya I got room for 35's but articulating angles is the issue.
Do you have any pics of the front bumper and the shackles? We have a custom bumper and a custom tow hook thread listed in the FAQ2. I would love to see some pics of it. You can post up in those thread so others can get Ideas on how to make some. Is the back bumper custom made too?
