I believe they are heated air inlet vacuum diaphragms. Part of the emissions system, came on the 2.5L in 1995 because I have read about them in the factory service manual. Sure they are on other models/years too.

Oh and if your truck doesn't have them you shouldn't need to add them.

The vacuum diaphrams move a door that opens a hole on the bottom side with a flex pipe to the exhaust manifold heatshield to draw in warmer air in the winter. There was a company making these new with different angles of seperation between the snorkles. I remember seeing them advertised in magazines but don't remember the company now. I think the were out of Ontario, Canada.

Found it. Its called a Ram Airbox. They are out of Hamilton, Ontario ramairbox.com You can get a complete kit custom made to your specs or just get the housing and fab up intake hoses to it.

Default Underdrive pulleys

Hey I just bought underdrives pulleys for my 96 dodge dakota 5.2L. Does anybody know if I can remove the crank pulley without removing the balancer. Why does the stock crank pulley have 6 bolts then 1 center bolt? Does anybody have any tips or advice on removing and installing? The kit come with a crank pulley and altenator pulley 25% reduction, anybody know what size belt? Thanks
