This was the article I was waiting for. One day I will build up a heavy duty transmission like that! I love this one!

i take it you 2 have an automatic trans in your truck.do you like the transmission?

Yes I have an automatic. It is a 46rh. I loved it! It never gave me problems, it was perfect. I push it hard too. Until one extremely cold morning It busted a fluid line. It killed the tranny. I took it to a shop to get rebuilt. They did a S***** job on it that is hasn't been perfect since. If I had taken it to a better shop to get it rebuilt correctly I would say I love it.

ya i was looking at getting my auto rebuilt..but around here it cost around 2000 to rebuild it.so i figured if i can do a standard swap for cheaper y not just do the swap.im just in the middle of choosing between the 5speed and the 4speed.
