I used the same crazy. The body lift let me get 4 clicks instead of 1, Lol.

I also left my inner fenders on to remove the tranny, but again the body lift makes space much less of an issue.

i've been through the whole flex plate battle and i find myself after only two months having to do it again. so a couple of things that i ran into were...

- i suggest removing the sensor at the top passengers side of the tranny
(crank sensor?) i broke mine the first time but managed to JB Weld it back together.

- the swivel ratchet wrenches work great on this job.

i'm very curious now that i've got some new information on how this job is gonna go for me the second time around. the first time i did it, i tried pulling the trans. case put to me there was not enough room. i ended up pulling the rad. and moving the motor ahead to get at the flex plate bolts. the one concern i have is that i didn't mark the different bolt (because i didn't realise there was a different bolt) so how will i know if i've got it back in the right spot?

good luck to everyone on whatever project your tackling.

Troy.

Ha, yea I broke my CAS one the first go around and gorilla glued it back. As for marking the TC, I just shot a spat of white paint in and around the last bolt hole. (94 3.9)

A good tip if you don't have paint or anything use whiteout.
