Can't wait to see another with one done. Make sure to post up tons of pics of it. I believe I sent you the link already. But if I didn't or anyone else wants to see here is the link. https://dodgeforum.com/forum/1st-gen...ont-hitch.html

Those skid plates are plenty strong. I love the gas tank one. That is the most vulnerable thing on the truck.

I made the front and the transmission oil pan plates. (2)

The Front Diff, Transfer-case, and Gas tank plates were factory made. I took them off of anther Dakota in the junkyard. (3)

Oh okay! I custom made it to fit my truck. I found one off of an 80's Chevy Van. I made some simple brackets to bolt it up to the brackets I had made for my tow hooks.

Great pics. I am thinking of designing a skid plate that comes up to the bumper I built for my friends bumper (see signature pic) The holes would be good to lighten the load so long as no branches make there way through.

Thanks. The front one is the only thinner plate I made, I didn't know where to get metal at that time.

The holes also help feed the radiator and air conditioner condenser. Ya hopefully a branch doesn't go through. As long as you have enough speed your good. LOL.
