Nice! Thats actually kinda how I want to paint my new truck, but I'm going with a much darker orange... similar layout though with that stripe.

318, if your going to do something like that, you should have some Barakota stickers made for it!

 

yeah if i keep mines as a daily driver it will be gettin a small block and lowered unless i can get another daily beater then im going subframe with atleast 3/4 tons and biggest engine i can(afford) lol. But yeah its sweet looking maybe i will buy it and keep mine too

 

Thats sweet i like the paint. Darker orange for me though! Thats what my plan was since i have 2 1st gen 2wd dakotas. Lower one and throw a stroked or built up 318/ 360 and lower it . Since i have three front clips and two chassies, 2 trannys, and 3 3.9L engines (1 carb, 1 TBI, 1 MAG) In the end i would have a spare engine and Front clip. Then thrown my left over front clip on a mint 4x4 frame lift it and throw the carb engine in her or add a 316. There are so many 316's here in Mn! In the end i should have a nice daily driver, a sweet hot rod summer truck, and a kick *** 4x4.

Wes was referring to the paint job, not the engine thats in it. The styling of that truck looks like it was based soley off the Barracuda. Whoever built that truck has good tastes IMO.

Right. I was talking about the paint scheme. When I started out with "318" I was refering to 95_318SLT. I knew someone would take it the wrong way when I re-read it, and that is exactly what stirred my "Who the heck are ya" thread.

Now I could have said "Brian, if your going to do something like that, you should have some Barakota stickers made for it!" and avoided all confusion!

By the way. A 70/71 cuda flashing a 440 6 pack has always been and always will be my dream car! I WILL have one one day.
