Its nice haveing a mother that works part time at a part store. I get 10% over cost on anything and everything. All the stuff i have done sence i have had it apart would have cost anyone (at least here in my town) 300 bucks. I got it done for 165. Clutch kit, flywheel surfaced, and a u joint replaced on the front drive shaft (dam needle bearings).

________________retail my cost
clutch kit-------- 198.54 101.19
Flywheel surf----- 49.00 35.00
Front Ujoint ------ 29.99 13.15
shop labor -------- 22.40 16.00

So for those who need to have it done. be lookin at spending 200 to 300 on a clutch job if you do it your self.

Cool! It's always cool when you got your hookups for parts.

After along weekend of about 10-12 hours of wrenchin my old truck is back on 4 wheels and moving again. So many cuts and scratches that my hands might look like a big scab come next weekend.

Thanks guys for all your help and input. I probably would have ended up taking it to a shop.
