Lol, if it ain't broke, don't fix it. I thought I'd need a new battery after I got all done with my t case swap cause although I had it unhooked, it decided to drop down to 2.8 volts!?! Somehow it managed to still take and hold a charge though. I bet its life was seriously shortened though.

Crazy. Would you mind doing a detailed write up with pictures for the remote start please? I'm very interested in doing one myself but haven't done one and I'm sure alot of people would love a write up with pictures

I will do what I can. I already had one unit installed so the wires are already there for me. There is a good write up on a wireless Keyless entry, in the FAQ2. For me that is half of my job. But again all the wires are setup for me from my last unit.

Well I decided to upgrade and go for the 10,000lbs winch. I just did a quick mount just to see how it looks. I will add in some bracing to support it. The mount is only good for 9,000lbs, so I might as well. I still need to hook up the wires. I will post up more pics too.

Awesome. Good choice. If you havent used both, the 10,000 will give you a lot better middle range pulling, and take less from your electronics while doing it. 2,000 pounds is a LOT of power when your talking about a winch. You'll love it.

LOL! Ya that is how it feels!

Well Here is my new Smittybilt 10,000lbs winch installed on my 1993 Dodge Dakota. I had drilled out some holes in the mount. I bolted down 2 3/4 bolts. I don't trust my welder, for something this serious. Now it will be strong enough for anything with those monster bolts.

I took it out today and did a test pull with it. It pulled easily and felt good. I took a few other pics too. Check them out!

Here is a close up of the Winch. I made a custom mini license plate in school years ago. I thought right on top would be a cool place for it.
