Man all this front mounting and rear mounting has me wondering about you 1st Genners!

Thanks! I love this winch. I just need to put it to work! To bad it is hard for me to get stuck. Or is that good!

Made a small modification to the winch mount. At the front I chopped and angled the front. I was going to make a front skid plate to angle it down but this seemed easier. This was the thickest metal I welded with my welder. It did great for the thicker metal.

Looks good, that should hold. If not, you could always put a plate on a 30deg angle from the left side of that HSS tube (near that bolt) down near the hole on the right. Kind of like gusset plates. That is as long as the plates are not in the way of anything.

The hitch will be as strong as the plate and your welds. Looks good!
