question..
anyone on here have the trailmaster 4" kit? .. im going away for navy so would have enough to get it if I really wanted, I have the rear blocks and torsion keys up front... with this kit, would it really even be worth my while.. wouldnt it only give me like 2 more inches?. cause the kit is like 2k..

He put it on an '88. Read his write up, especially page 2 and then decide. What it does is drop the lower control arms down 4 inches. The raises the truck 4 inches from stock, so technically, if you crank the torsion bars after you install the kit, you may be able to get 5 or 6 inches. If you keep the bars at the stock spring rate, you'll have about 2 inches higher than you are now with a lot more comfortable ride.
If you have any fabricating ability, you should study all the pictures, come up with a design, and build your own out of 1/4 inch steel. It will be stronger and cheaper, just take a lot longer. Thats what I would do.

ya.. I know very expensive!. lol, I would bring you one in a sec for that deal.. if I could find one haha. none around here!, im going away for 11 weeks.. will come back with over 6 grand.. so who knows maybe il just go all out and buy it

The reason you need different rims is because of the knuckle is 4 inches taller with the spacer on, and the rim won't fit around the knuckle. You need a backspacing that would put the back edge of the rim toward the outside of the knuckle assembly.
