Oh, I must have missed that you have the v6.They quit making the v6 MP PCM a long time ago and they are hard to come by.

Did you test some other connections to see if they were good. I don't want to say your computer is bad on the off chance that you simply got no contact with the multimeter, but it does sound like the computer is bad. Check pin 3 to see if you are getting voltage into the computer.

Well you may have a bad speed sensor and not letting the cable spin. Or both are bad. Best thing you can do go under the truck and take a look at it.

ok i checked the cable by disconnecting from the sensor and spinning it from bottom and having someone make sure it spins up top...

its good!

the sensor is new...

so i pulled the pinion gear thing out and its like its not long enough to reach the splines on the inside, i can pull it out alittle and it will match up but it just pushes its self back in...

is there suppose to be a bushing here? to keep the gear extended out

guys thx for the help! ive managed to solve the problem and it was much easier then it should have been...

the speedo housing was placed back in wrong for a higher setting gear, it was placed in for a 40-45 spline gear and my spline gear has 33, so i turned it and it offset closer to internal spline, therefore speedo and odometer are back in tach =D
