Default 92 dakota heater core swap

I just finished putting a new heater core in my truck today which was about as cool as a kick in the nuts. After I got done, my overdrive off switch, electric mirrors, and radio doesn't work. There is power from the acc for the radio but not the battery. There is power at the overdrive switch but doesn't work. I don't know if there is power at the mirror switch. I have checked all fuses and grounds and still a bust. I also hooked up all the connections I found but may have missed one. Do any of you have any sugestions of what the problem might be?

Thanks

Also is a picture of the interior all torn apart.

Go under the hood in the power distribution center and replace the blown #5 fuse.

I just pulled this, there is nothing under there that provides power to those units. The only thing that it could even be that is related to the hvac unit pull is the main electrical line that runs behind the glove box up on top. Its the one thats taped to the plastic runner. Thats the only electrical in there.

On a side note. Did you check it or replace it. Ive had "good" fuses not work before.

I pulled all of the fuses out and checked them. I know the 5 amp fuse under the hood is good because I have my CB radio spliced into the fuse panel at the power for the radio and the CB still works. I'm assuming I missed a connector somewhere. I am just trying to avoid pulling the dash out again.

On a side note, does the ac system take R-12 or R134a?

Also the light under the hood doesn't work now.

It all sounds like the stuff thats ran off that fuse. Maybe your cb is drawing too much power.

It depends on if it was converted or not. I know mine was 134.

I have been running the cb like that for over two years now and haven't had any problems. I turned the cb off and tried the radio then but still got nothing.

I think mine takes r12 because it only has one charging port on the smaller line which I think is the high pressure side but I don't know for sure.

R12 fittings and 134 fittings are a different size. I believe 12's are much bigger. If its been converted it will have a sticker somewhere under your hood letting you know when and where it was converted and it will have the smaller ports. If your not sure take it to an ac shop and they will probably tell you for free.

Well if your sure the fuse is good it has to be the electrical plug behind the glovebox.
