5.9 swap

5.9 swap
i have a 92 with a 5.2 in it and i was wondering how many people on here have done a 5.9 swap? and if it is worth the money to do it?

I have! Yes it was worth it to me. Very easy! Just remove and install the 5.9. Get a complete 5.9 from the injectors (and plugs) to the flywheel to the crankshaft pulley. Use your sensors and all.

Just use your wires and sensors.

The 5.2 and 5.9 were balanced different, so be sure to use the 5.9's flexplate (or flywheel if manual).

No he doen't need it, the 5.2 computer can run the 5.9 just fine.
But to get 100% out of the 5.9 then yes it is needed.
I have my 5.2 mopar high performance computer running my 5.9. I would say maybe I'm getting 98% or higher out of my 5.9. Just 1 or 2HP.
