anything look weird in this pic
This is after 15min of idling and 20 min of driving albeit in 40 degree weather.........my heater sucks and this is the highest the temp ever gets. on a hot day it dont move but maybe a hair hotter than this. its been like this since i did the waterpump/timingset/radiator also those volts seem a bit high anyone else agree......and my gas gauge works im on E someone loan me 20 bucks lmfao
mine has a brand new optima in it and noting pulses and i dont have a radio so idk why it would be that high......
and good god i wish this truck ran hotter (never thought id say that bout a vehicle) since i only got one window i need my heater in this cold *** weather lol

I heard that about the heat. I have a problem with the heater door that needs to be addressed. The pin in the door broke and wont turn when the actuator pushes to adjust the temp. Its always on hot. So I had to put a valve under the hood to turn it off. OOFA!
Fix: new thermostat? Hotter thermostat? My gauge reads maybe a hair or two warmer than that, with a 180 stat. I would recommend a stock-temp stat (190/192/195 or whatever it is).
Since your getting poor heat, and a low-temp gauge condition, it doesn't lead me to believe you have a clogged heater core (which would usually show poor heat, normal temp gauge condition)
Do you have sufficient coolant in the radiator (check with engine COLD, top off radiator) and in the overflow container?
I was going to say, since you replaced the radiator, did you also replace the radiator cap... under the impression that with the new radiator, the cap might not be making a good seal, but that would usually lead to an overheat condition. Hmmm...
Your voltmeter looks normal to me.

i dont have an o0verflow i hit a bump one day and it popped loose and the fan made short work of it...... the rad is full though i check my fluids every other day.

Volt meter looks fine. Oil pressure is low. And like said above, water temp sits at 180, so you probably have a 180 deg thermostat.
If you want more heat, put a higher temp thermostat in it like a 195.
