the transmission isnt missing a tooth...is it supposed to be like that?

Yes, it is supposed to be like that. Don't ask me why its like that cause I have no idea, but like I said before, I've never seen a slip yoke that didn't skip a spline.

ok...thats a relief... saves me a trip back out to the guys house i bought the thing from...lol whats the weight on the v8 flywheel, if you dont mind me asking and my truck has a mechanical speed sensor but when i checked it out it has an electrical connector on it, is that the overdrive sensor?

I have no idea how heavy the flywheel is!

As for the speed sensor, your speedometer is cable driven, but the computer still needs to know how fast the truck is going in order to operate cruise control and overdrive. In 1994 they went to an all electronic speed sensor and got rid of the cable.

i assume that the v6 clutch kit and v8 clutch kit arent the same...

i went to get the correct parts today and apparantly the clutch kit and flywheel i have are too big....is this even possible considering i got the parts for a v6?
